NOTICE OF EXTENDED NOMINATION PROCEEDINGS
PURSUANT TO THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ACT AND MUNICIPAL ELECTION REGULATIONS
NOTICE
The nomination period has been extended in the Rural Municipality of Darlington and will close at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 26, 2018. Public notice is hereby given to electors that Municipal Elections will be held on November 5, 2018 to elect one mayor and six councilors for a term of office of four years.
Nominations for the municipality shall only be received at 19816 Route 2, Hunter River
Saturday, October 20th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Tuesday, October 23rd from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
Friday, October 26th from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
A candidate must file their completed nomination paper at the election office with the Municipal Electoral Officer or Returning Officer.
